- ICVK Adopts Two Villages in Karnataka: Entrepreneurship Training in Village Schools

-
- ICVK has adopted two villages, Honnaganahalli and Kodaisikoppa, in Kanakapura Taluk of Bangalore Rural District. Entrepreneurship classes are conducted daily in the High Schools in Honnaganahalli and Kodaisikoppa. The objective is to foster an interest in entrepreneurship at an early age. In addition, when these students pass High School, and if they are unable to get jobs, they would have already acquired the basics of entrepreneurship and would therefore have an option of starting their own small business instead of joining the ranks of the rural unemployed or migrate to the cities to become day labourers or the urban poor.
- ICVK's Nutritious Mid-Day meals for High School Students
-
- ICVK finances and manages a MID-DAY MEAL PROGRAM in two Government High Schools, in Honagonahalli and Kodaisikoppa. A free, nutritious meal is provided daily to approximately 500 High School students.
